Our Stumbling Bumbling Government

As I watch our government, I have come to notice one thing nobody’s taking responsibility for this terrible lack of reaction time lack of planning and lack of preparedness in something they saw coming and had ample time to react. FEMA new about the hurricane before it hit and at that time it was a cat 5. FEMA new about the levee in N.O. FEMA new about the poor and elderly who could not get out from previous hurricanes. FEMA & the President new all of this would happen. The one thing they did not know is the extent of Katrina’s fury. So as they praised themselves for what a wonderful job they are doing? Trying to make you as Americans believe they were on top of it, ask yourself is this kind of people we want running this country.

Now some are saying this is not the time to criticize, well what the hell happens if we get hit with another hurricane from Mother Nature (another hurricane brewing in the Atlantic as we speak) or worse yet a terrorist attack and you tell me when is the time? Are we as Americans going to sit around and let this President con us into the “its ok routine,and we are doing a great job”

This Presidency does not even have the balls or the fortitude to admit they have screwed the pouch on this one. Because of it a lot of people have died and continue to die not counting the needless amount of suffering. The term we are what we eat falls into place here our government is what we got and what we got is this!

I am so tired of these idiots that represent us saying how proud they are of the President and FEMA, this is ungodly these gutless wonders looking the camera straight in eye and saying this. The President his cabinet and FEMA should be impeached & fired immediately. I guarantee you if myself or one of you responded in this manner we would be fired. I know one thing if I was the president when this happened and reacted the same way I would resign and would never be able to forgive myself for my lack of action and protection that I promised the American people.

You know we as Americans cannot stand for this, I would respect Bush much more if he would have come out and say we failed in our response time and heads will roll when this is over and this will never happen again. But no he looks right in the camera and says how proud he is of Michael Brown head of FEMA and his staff. This is the man that represents us all and has pledge to protect us and take care of us in times of needs.

I will end saying if we as Americans swallow this line of crap from Bush and his administration as they try and cover up there blunders and redirect your thoughts, then we as Americans get what we deserve. God help the USA
