Frustrated American

I am writing this article because I am just frustrated, angry and I feel so helpless in what is happening to America the place I was born. The place my family was born. My family who has fought for this country in WWII, Korean and Viet Nam. I have family who has died in war.

My Grandfather once told me that the fall of America would not come through an invasion or take over by another government or country that it would come from greed and a class of people who puts themselves above everybody else. I did not understand what he was saying then however today shamefully so I do.

I am neither Democrat nor Republican for I can think for myself. I don’t mean that to be offensive but both parties have set them selves up that if you don’t think the way they think you are not quote a Democrat or Republican. Somewhere along in time both parties have forgotten that what America is truly all about, Like taking care of the American people, common sense, honesty, integrity and what we as a people can do to help other people on this planet. We as Americans have lost something I can’t pinpoint it but we have lost something.

We have always had the freedoms of religions and choice’s. Today if you believe in God and Christmas and the basic idea of Love people trust in God you are almost condemned. God is being wiped out in this country! What happened? You know growing up if you were an atheist or Jewish or any other religion it was ok, you live in America you have that choice, But this great nation was built on the values of love people trust in God. It was in our court house’s our school’s and our government as a reminder to do just that! Love people; be honest, trustworthy & fair. So now it is all being taken away from our court houses, schools & more importantly our Government. What message or reminders does that send?

Today we have a president who believes in big business, greed, control and sure does not look after the American people (my opinion). I don’t care that he is a Republican or Democrat. I believe he is trying to wipe out the middle class. He has taken us to war with out a plan, sadly enough I don’t know what is true or not from this government. I have lost all faith and confidence in our government along with a lot of other Americans and countries.
We have a race of people from the south who is flooding our borders our towns our schools our hospitals bringing with them there ways, language, disease’s and lawlessness. More importantly only God knows how many terrorists and device’s have come across the border to possibly kill my family my neighbors and my fellow Americans. Yet we practically strip search grandmothers at the airport? I don’t get it; it makes no sense to me. I don’t blame the Hispanics for wanting a better life; I blame our government for allowing it to get out of control and sending the message it is alright for a group of people to break the laws of the land in the name of big business. Now some people are going to say I am not being politically correct. Well let me tell you what I think of Politically Correctness. It’s destroying this country! Hello! Am I the only one that sees this? What happen to our God given right to say what we feel.

We have just had one of the largest natural disasters this country has ever seen. The day of the disaster and the day after our president is playing golf and going to a ball game. Then as people are dying, starving, dying of thirst. As we see this unfold right before our eyes where is our government where is the president where are all our troops? This is America our fellow Americans are dying and are in desperate need of help not somewhere around the world but here in America. Then 5 days later when our president decides that maybe he ought to go check it out. As help finally shows up and people who need it immediately don’t get it first but the rich and elite get evacuated first. Now I am not a brain surgeon but the message that sends to me is what I said earlier it is all about big business and money and the class of people you are with this president. Now we as Americans have been taxed practically right out of our houses for things like home land security, FEMA and a hundred other groups. Is this what we get when disasters strikes. Is this our bang for our buck? God help all of us if we get hit by terrorist during this very sad and frustrating time in our history.
Meanwhile other countries look at us some laughing at us some scratching there heads wondering why we can help other countries but not help ourselves. And of course the ones that say Allah is in charge. So where do we as Americans go from this? Do we want to have this man continue to represent us and how many more Americans have to die and suffer while he is in office? And when he is gone if were still around who is truly going to represent us as Americans not Republicans or Democrats but as Americans. Is there such a thing anymore is there such a person out there I don’t know I can only hope and pray that there is someone in my life time.


Now weather you agree with me or not take a minute and look, I mean really honestly look from your heart and soul where we are as a country, where we are going as a country and the message we are spreading not only to Americans but to people around the world. How the country is so separated in so many ways. How God has almost become a bad word in this country. You’re either a rich American or a Poor American. The middle class of America which has always been the heart of America is being slowly wiped out! I wonder what our for fathers and all the people who have died for this country think?

America is loosing its identity and heart. Ask yourself why we don’t know our neighbors hell we can’t even speak the same language anymore.
What is our language?
Why do people all over the world hate us so much?
Why has God become such a bad thing?
Why can we protect and feed other countries and not our own?
Why an illegal alien can get better health care in this country than I can?
Why are there separate set of laws for Illegal aliens in this country than Americans?
What I really want to know is why we can get food and Water and relief for a place halfway across the world in two days but here in America it takes 5 days just to start?

Something to think about since Bush has taken office we have had 9-11, earthquakes, floods, Hurricanes, fires we have two war fronts going on and a lot of other smaller disasters. I wonder if the world and God himself are trying to tell us something.

In closing I want to leave you a final thought. Is this the generation that destroys America as we know it, have we gotten so comfortable that we are willing to let a President lie cheat and steel our freedoms right before our eyes? What will America be like for our children? I truly wish I knew the answers to all the questions but I don’t. What I do know is we as a people better get our identity and hearts back with leadership that is truly for the people of the people. Or we will be (America home of the rich, shameless & the poor).
